Polyurea Waterproofing Solutions
◣ Product Description
Polyurea elastomers are compounds formed through the reaction of an isocyanate component (referred to as Component A) with an amine‑containing component (referred to as Component B). Spray‑applied polyurea elastomer (SPUA) technology, developed over the past two decades abroad, represents a new solvent‑free, environmentally friendly construction technique designed to meet growing environmental protection requirements. It follows in the footsteps of low‑ or zero‑emission coating technologies such as high‑solids coatings, waterborne coatings, radiation‑cured coatings, and powder coatings.
Spray‑applied polyurea elastomer technology is hailed as the greatest breakthrough in the coatings and painting field at the end of the 20th century, earning the reputation of a “universal” coating. By integrating cutting‑edge technologies, advanced materials, and innovative processes, it represents a revolutionary leap forward compared with conventional construction methods. Its emergence has redefined traditional notions of corrosion resistance and protective performance, setting a new, higher standard for the materials‑protection industry.
◣ Scope of Application
●防腐
It is suitable for various underground pipelines and transport pipelines, including heavy-duty anti-corrosion applications for steel pipes, castings, and chemical equipment and ancillary facilities in industries such as oilfield and chemical engineering.
● Leak-proofing
It can be used for roof waterproofing in high‑rise buildings, as well as for seepage control and resistance to water‑flow erosion in subways and highways.
● Waterproof and leak-proof
It can be used for anti-corrosion of the inner and outer walls of desalinated water tanks in power plants, for internal corrosion protection of circulating water pipelines, for corrosion and seepage control in drainage trenches, and for corrosion and seepage prevention in wastewater treatment ponds, among other applications.
● Protection
It can be used for corrosion protection in projects such as cross-sea bridges, offshore drilling platforms, ship decks, and cabin floors. It also provides wear resistance and corrosion protection for various industrial flooring applications and is suitable for tennis courts, basketball courts, badminton courts, and surface protection of running tracks.
● Decoration
It can be used for stage productions, film sets, and advertising prop fabrication; as well as for creating artificial natural landscapes, amusement parks, museums, and a wide range of toy‑like cartoon character designs and decorative entertainment installations.
