This year, Shunda participated in a high-end residential project in Northeast China, marking the company’s first large-scale application of a polyurethane thermal‑insulation and sound‑proofing system for floor slabs in the region. The total installation area amounted to approximately 60,000 square meters, with a 3‑cm‑thick polyurethane foam coating sprayed onto the interior floors.
The innovative application of this thermal‑acoustic insulation system not only complies with national building energy‑efficiency policies but also significantly enhances residential comfort, creating a more pleasant and tranquil living environment.

According to feedback from the construction contractor, the polyurethane spray‑applied insulation and sound‑proofing system used on the Shunda Building’s floor produced a fine‑grained foam that cured rapidly, with a clean surface, seamless integration, and perfectly executed joint detailing—earning unanimous praise from the client.
On June 5, 2022, the newly revised Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Noise Pollution officially came into force. It redefines the scope of noise pollution, strengthens measures to prevent and control various types of noise pollution, and sets forth new, more stringent guidelines for sound insulation and noise reduction in residential buildings.
Building‑level noise reduction and thermal insulation not only meet energy‑saving requirements but also lay a solid foundation for enhancing the comfort of countless homes and fostering harmonious neighborhood communities.
